About Lee Watson, PhD
Dr Lee Watson is a yoga advocate, academic and co-author of YOGA SAVED MY LIFE. After spending a large part of his professional life as an academic, consultant and in print and broadcast media, Lee found his way onto a yoga mat several years ago after using exercise as way to combat the kinds of mental health issues that are all too common today. His instincts as an academic and journalist, combined with a burning desire to give something back led him to want to create a safe space for individuals to come together to explore ideas about how yoga has helped them. He set up Fierce Calm as a space where individuals from all over the world shared storied of how yoga had saved their lives. Fierce Calm is now a rapidly expanding network of activists and ambassadors committed to raising awareness and funding to support their registered charity partners.
