Cyndi Lee, founder of OM yoga, is one of the most influential teachers in the U.S. She is the first Western yoga teacher to fully integrate yoga asana and Tibetan Buddhism in her practice and teaching. Cyndi has been teaching the OM yoga method — vinyasa integrated with precise alignment and the meditative elements of mindfulness and compassion — since 1996. As a Tibetan Buddhist practitioner, she has studied with Gelek Rimpoche since 1990. She is known worldwide for her playful, smart, soulful, no-baloney, highly effective teaching.
Cyndi is the author of Yoga Body Buddha Mind, OM yoga: A Guide to Daily Practice and May I Be Happy: A Memoir of Love, Yoga and Changing My Mind. She writes regularly for Yoga Journal, and has appeared on multiple television shows including Good Morning America, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee and The Dr. Oz Show.
