Seane Corn: Not Burning Out In Service To Others

Give Back Yoga Foundation Advisory Board member Seane Corn speaks at the 2012 Yoga Service Council Conference on how a daily personal practice helps to sustain teachers and activists, while allowing them to serve in a way that’s supportive and open-minded.

“It’s very easy to fall into the format of ‘us and them’ – let me go out into the world and make a difference by fixing them, so I can avoid actually having to do anything for myself (or) focus on my own issues…the practice of yoga really allows us to have to look at our own stuff consistently every single day, and hold ourselves accountable and self-responsible. Being of service in this new and conscious way is a revolution.”
