Jenna Ritter on Serving Those With Mental Illness

Executive Director Rob Schware talks with Dhara founder Jenna Ritter for The Huffington Post Blog on her work of bringing self-healing yoga techniques to low-income students living with emotional and mental health issues.

“Yoga is one of many ways toward healing and self-realization. It’s my hope that the foundations of yoga as healing – as distinct from yoga as exercise – can be communicated to all who are interested, so that as many as possible can experience the powerful healing that lies in yoga practice.”

– Jenna Ritter, founder of the non-profit organization Dhara
